Welcoming February With Open Arms!

I wanted to start this month by filling you in on a little of my own life and obstacles I face. I truly see health as feeding your body from the inside out and the outside in. I am 38 years old and deal with trauma from earlier years in my life. One thing I know continuing to take care of your body, skin and mind is essential. It important to pamper yourself and rememer self love. Yoga and essential oils are two things that go hand in hand. This doesn't mean you have to be a yoga expert! Instead approach the practice with ease and just a few morning stretches. Diffusing some oils while you wake can make a world of difference each and every day. I enjoy uplifting oils such as the Serenity blend which aids in easing stress and maintaining balance throughout my day and calming oils at night such as Lavendar or Geranium.

Helpful Morning Rituals to Keep you Uplifted, Relaxed and Productive

This is definitely something I continously have to work on. But being consistent pays off! Here are a few examples that have helped me acheive a calm morning transition.

  • Diffusing Citrus Bliss and Lavendar upon waking

  • Doing a few stretches in bed

  • Eating breakfast! An egg is wonderful to get that much needed protein or a green smoothie. If you haven't tried it, here is a one that will surely have you hooked and feeling great! ;) Simple Green Smoothie
